Interested in the sciences, I received a DEC from Marianopolis College in Pure & Applies Sciences. A love of biology and chemistry led me to McGill University and a Bachelor Degree in Biochemistry. After a year of a Master’s program at the University of Western Ontario, which gave me great insight into research and problem solving, I was accepted into the dentistry program at McGill University.
I graduated with several awards and am especially proud of the McConnell Award: 2nd highest overall finisher. I am grateful to all the wonderful teachers who helped me achieve this.
A multidisciplinary residency program at the Jewish General Hospital gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge in the many disciplines of dentistry. It is here where my love of periodontics developed through the guidance of the excellent teaching staff. After two years of practice, I was honored to be accepted into the prestigious periodontal program at the University of Washington in Seattle Washington. World-class teachers and clinicians expanded my knowledge and helped develop my surgical skills.
Upon returning to Montreal, I began practicing periodontics and implant dentistry in a private practice setting. As well, my teaching career included positions at McGill University, the University of Montreal, at the undergraduate level, and at the Jewish General Hospital and Royal Victoria Hospital at the residency level.
I have always been very involved with organized dentistry and have been Past President of: Montreal Dental Club, Federation of Dental Societies of Greater Montreal, Montreal Dental Study Club, as well as an Administrator at the Order of Dentists of Quebec.
As continuing education is imperative in order to stay current in the ever-changing field of periodontics, I am an active member of: American Academy of Periodontology, Canadian Academy of Periodontology, Quebec Association of Periodontists, Canadian Dental Association, and the International Team for Implantology.
With many years of experience in the dental field, and over ten years in our practice, my most amazing office manager keeps the office running smoothly and is dedicated to making that appointment happen for you!
