A wide and deep frenum (ligament going between the 2 front teeth) is removed which will help stabilize the position of the 2 front teeth after the braces are removed.
Missing lateral incisor (3rd tooth from the left) and old bridge with shorter teeth on left side than right side. Surgery allowed us to lengthen the canine and fill in the concavity where the root of the missing tooth used to be, resulting in a much more esthetic new bridge which is symmetric to teeth on opposite side.
Tooth 23: Canine tooth has the root exposed – after grafting we see complete root coverage and an esthetic result.
Tooth 41: Right central incisor with significant recession on lingual aspect.
Tooth 32: Patient asked to have the root of the lateral incisor covered with tissue.
Tooth 32: Patient asked to have the root of the lateral incisor covered with tissue which would be more esthetic than the gingival graft on the adjacent teeth.
Missing tooth 12 replaced with a dental implant. Crown on implant 12 (2nd full tooth from the left) by Dr. H. MPantis.
Implant 22: abscess is treated, with good healing.
First Premolar: first full tooth from the left shows how a bone graft has helped fill the bony defect.
